You can deposit checks with the Happen Bank app! Here’s how:
Confirm that the payee is listed as an account holder or joint account holder.
Sign the back of the check and add “For Mobile Deposit at Happen Bank only” below your signature.
On the mobile app homepage, select Deposit.
On the Mobile Deposit screen, enter the check Amount.
Tap Front.
Position your phone’s camera above the check. The camera automatically focuses and takes a picture of the check.
Tap Looks Good to save the check image.
On the Mobile Deposit screen, tap Back.
Repeat steps 6-7 to take a picture of the back of the check.
On the Mobile Deposit screen, tap Deposit Check. A success message appears letting you know that the check was successfully deposited.
To view the status of your mobile deposit, tap the History icon in the upper-right corner of the Mobile Deposit screen.
Helpful Hints
If the auto capture feature fails after several attempts, you can use the manual capture by tapping the shutter button on the phone screen.
We recommend a dark background on a light check that clearly displays the 4 corners of the check.
Ensure that the front of the check has a signature and valid date.
