How do I correct discrepancies in my credit bureau report?

less than a minute read

Happen Bank is required to accurately report a complete history of a Member’s credit relationship. If you believe that your credit bureau report contains inaccurate or incomplete information regarding your Happen account, you can dispute it directly with Happen Bank by completing a dispute form.

You can obtain free copies of your full credit report through Annualcreditreport.com

Or the below major credit bureaus:

Happen Bank cannot make exceptions to our credit reporting process and is unable to remove or change any accurate data that has been reported.

To allow Happen Bank to quickly and accurately review your dispute:

  • Ensure the dispute form is completed accurately.

  • If you have supporting documentation, you may include it in your dispute which may include, for example: a copy of the relevant portion of your consumer report.

Please mail your dispute to:

Happen Bank
Attn: Credit Dispute
88 Kearny Street, Suite 600
San Francisco, CA 94108

We recommend sending your documents using certified mail.

We will only consider data from the major credit bureaus (noted above). We are unable to review data from companies like:

  • CreditKarma.com

  • Myfico.com

Alternatively, you can dispute directly with the credit bureaus:
