As General Counsel & Corporate Secretary for Happen Bank (formerly LendingClub), Jordan oversees all legal matters including regulatory advice, litigation, business transactions, corporate governance, and intellectual property.

Before joining Happen Bank, Jordan was Vice President and Deputy General Counsel at Alliance Data Card Services, where he provided strategic direction and led the legal department supporting all aspects of the company’s business. Prior to that, he served as Vice President and Senior Counsel at Bank of the West and Vice President, Secretary, and Director of Legal Compliance at Franklin Capital Corporation, supporting their consumer financial services regulatory and corporate governance needs. He also held consumer financial services regulatory legal roles at JP Morgan Chase and U.S. Bancorp.

Jordan received a J.D. from the University of Cincinnati College of Law as well as a B.S. in Accounting from the University of Utah. He is a member of the State Bars of Ohio and Utah.
