About Bastiaan:

  • Market research runs through Bastiaan's veins: as young as 13 years old he already took part in his first long term market research study, diligently writing down every day which TV programs he watched for a television panel. So when studying Economics it was hardly a surprise that he chose to specialise in market research. After his study he further developed his MR skills at ANWB, a large Dutch company
  • At Winkle Bastiaan manages projects from start to finish, tackling clients’ key business questions in the best possible way. And when analyzing the results he always tries to look at the data from different angles, in order to provide his clients with fresh, surprising and useful insights
  • Bastiaan is said to be the fittest Winkler alive, after biking up the French mountains incredibly fast with no real practice at all. His stamina comes from his passion for both tennis and (indoor) football. He believes he was not born talented, but simply works extra hard to win! He also has strong links with Madrid, where he lived for half a year, and tries to visit twice a year to enjoy the company of great friends, the lovely weather, brilliant tapas and cañas or tinto de veranos
