When will my funds be available to use after I open my account?

If you fund your new account from an existing Happen Bank account, your initial deposit will be available as soon as the transfer is complete.

If you fund your new account by transferring money from an external financial institution, your initial deposit, and any subsequent deposits initiated from external accounts within the first 30 days of account opening, will be held for 5 business days to validate your account. Deposits initiated from external accounts after the first 30 days of account opening will be subject to a 3-business-day hold. These holds help protect you against potentially fraudulent activity.
