Challenge

Happen was tasked with creating a strategy for the ambient category to meet Symington’s rapid expansion plans after a management buy-in.

What we did

Leveraging Happen’s expertise in insight-led innovation we uncovered fresh insights and key category drivers. Working together we created eight key ambient strategies and numerous product innovations.

Result

Category revenues have increased from £50M to £90M and are still growing. We also helped Symington’s to attain strategic partner status with Asda in the cupboard dried food category.
