places to visit

If you have a little extra time and would like to get a snap shot of what London has to offer, we have put together the following recomendations.

Walk to the Tate Modern - 1.4 miles (2.2km) less than 30mins
For a map click here.
This is a great walk past some of London's most famous landmarks.
Turn left onto St John Street and cross diagonally over the traffic lights at Clerkenwell Road. Take the first left into St Johns Lane which will take you past St. Johns Gate. Walk along St. Johns Road towards St. Pauls - you can't miss the famous dome. This route will take you past Smithfield markets. If you feel energetic why don't you climb the stairs of St. Pauls to the top of the dome? Walk over the Millinium bridge to the Tate Modern. From the bridge you can take in the skyline of london - Tower Bridge, Canary Wharf, the London Eye and Westminster. Enter the Tate Modern via the dramatic Turbine Hall entrance and then either explore the building itself or one of the many exhibitions (Tube: Southwark). From here, if you still have the energy to explore further, you could head towards Tower Bridge crossing back over the river to the Tower of London (Tube: Tower Hill), or walk the other direction towards the South Bank Centre. Cross back over the Thames on the Golden Jubilee Footbridge to Embankment Tube.

Sadler's Wells Theatre - 0.6 miles (1km) 12 min walk
For a map click here.
Sadler's Wells showcases the very best of UK and International contemporary dance and is conveniently located to the Hub. For pre or post theatre dining you will find a good selection of restaurants in nearby Exmouth Market. Click here to check what's on.

Oxford and Regent Streets
The Hub is a short taxi or bus ride to London's premier shopping district.

West End Theatre District
The famous theatres of London's West End is a short taxi ride from the Hub. For information on what's on where click here.
