Happen have recently led law firm Bishop and Sewell through an innovation process looking specifically at the leading challenges they are facing in this fast changing industry. What we delivered were ideas to help them shape their future services, aligned to the true needs and values of their clients. The process fundamentally changed their view on how to move the future development of their services and relationships with clients forward, and opened up an array of new opportunities for the firm. Read about how we helped in the Law Gazette. |

In an industry that has, and will continue to, experience dramatic structural shake ups in recent years, law firms are increasingly looking for ways to stand out from the crowd and differentiate theirselves against the competition. Being ‘different’ is very high up on the wish list of the leadership teams of most law firms at present. Management committees know that the market is tough, and that a lot of other law firms of the same size offer the same services at about the same price for that firm’s ‘weight class’. Genuinely fresh ways to defend and increase market share are thin on the ground.
