| Happen UK does Oxford, again |
|
In the session, the Happen team, along with a group of students, worked hard to develop new product ideas and outline plans for social initiatives for the company to deploy on the ground in Chad. The outputs varied from ‘Man Shea-ld’ moisturiser to a credits system for employees to exchange for training sessions. Phoebe Scriven, founder of Quad, the Oxford Advertising Society’s creative arm, described the afternoon as “thought-provoking, dynamic and highly enjoyable”. The session represents another Oxford connection for Happen, alongside the annual slot at Silicon Valley comes to Oxford at the Said Business School, where Happen runs the garage workshop alongside Oxford Entrepreneurs. |
In conjunction with the Oxford Advertising Society, Happen has run a creative ideation workshop with Chad-based social enterprise Sahara Botanicals which is developing commercial shea butter plantations in Africa for retail and wholesale export.
